Privacy Policy
Tumblefern, Inc. ("Tumblefern," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit tumblefern.com (the "Site") or interact with the ventures we hold, including Shaun-Christopher Designs and any mobile or web applications we develop and release under the Tumblefern umbrella ("Apps"). By using the Site or our Apps, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
Tumblefern, Inc. is a Texas holding company based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We oversee a small portfolio of ventures, including Shaun-Christopher Designs (decorative painting and wallpaper installation services) and Product Lab, our in-development mobile and web application initiative.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. The Site itself does not include contact or sign-up forms. If you reach out to us by phone or email, we receive whatever information you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, and the content of your message.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting and content delivery providers (see Section 5) may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and access times, for security and performance purposes. We do not currently use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising/analytics scripts on the Site. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent.
Information collected through our Apps. As Product Lab releases mobile or web applications, each app will include its own privacy disclosures describing the specific data it collects (such as account information, usage data, or device permissions), consistent with Apple App Store and Google Play requirements. Those disclosures will supplement, not replace, this policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries sent to us by phone or email
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Site and our Apps
- Understand general usage patterns to improve our ventures
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers who host, secure, or operate our Site and infrastructure (for example, our web hosting and DNS providers), solely to provide those services on our behalf
- Legal or regulatory authorities, if required to comply with the law, protect our rights, or respond to a valid legal process
- A successor entity, if Tumblefern is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will provide notice before information becomes subject to a different privacy policy
5. Third-Party Service Providers
The Site is hosted using third-party infrastructure providers (including Vercel for web hosting and Cloudflare for domain and DNS services). These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the Site to you, under their own privacy and security practices.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, tax and business recordkeeping requirements applicable to Texas corporations).
7. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in our care. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site and our current ventures are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it. Any future Apps directed at younger audiences will include additional protections consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar state laws). To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
10. International Visitors
Tumblefern, Inc. is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our ventures, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
